Sketch + Doilies

They are called challenges for a reason as they challenge you to create something that fits the theme. As you may or may not know I don't scrapbook I make cards and mixed media. Creating a scrapbook layout is like talking to me in a foreign language.

For the Frosted Designs Challenge we were given a sketch and we also had to use doilies.

The doilies didn't bother me it was the rest of the sketch that did. Well I had to put my thinking cap on for this one and I believe I did a pretty good job, what do you think?

This mixed media design is created on a 10cm x 10cm canvas. The back ground became lumpy when distressed with a heat gun. It was painted with gesso then a green iridescent paint by Jo Sonja's.
